Barrow Gurney Parish Council

Coronavirus Crisis

This page has been set up to provide a hub for information and the co-ordination of support across the parish of Barrow Gurney. Please bear with us as we work to set it up.

  • Only go outside for food, health reasons or work (but only if you cannot work from home)
  • Stay 2 metres (6ft) away from other people
  • Wash your hands as soon as you get home

You can spread the virus even if you don’t have symptoms.

Support Network

The Council is in the process of co-ordinating a support network for residents across the parish, particularly with an eye on our most vulnerable. Cllrs Nick Tyrrell and Joanna Critchett are leading on this. If you are in a position to assist in any way, please register your interest, below.

If you need some support with anything such as collecting groceries and prescriptions or just having someone to chat to over the phone, PLEASE let us know by dropping us an e-mail using the link below.

email Lyndsay Newman or call her on 0796 7345559. Village Agents are available to signpost the elderly and vulnerable to a multitude of agencies and sources of support.
